155: Ask the Everygirl: Do I Really Need a 5-Year Plan, Or Can I Just...Enjoy My Life?
"For the first time in my life, I don’t have a 5-year plan. I don’t even know where I want to see myself a year from now–especially in my career. But I do feel like I’m finally living a version of my highest self and I’m happy both mentally and physically. But should I be trying to come up with another 5-year plan? I’m tired of planning and right now I just want to enjoy my reality, is that practical and OK?"
Josie answers the question with an important reminder that when we get so caught up in the manifestation trends and glow-up goals, we often lose the plot. Josie talks about the important realization she had about vacations that made her change her mindset around goal setting, and the lessons most of us probably don't know in our outcome-obsessed culture.
