In this week’s episode, Josie interviews meditation teacher and yoga instructor Kelly Smith about all things meditation, manifestation, and more. First, in the Ask The Everygirl segment, Emma and Josie discuss how to be confident enough to wear your pimple patches to the bar, as well as how to come across as likable in occasionally awkward everyday interactions. At the beginning of the interview with Kelly, Josie asks her to explain her journey, and how she found the practice of meditation in her own life. Kelly explains that although she does feel that she manifested the life she has now, she also has had to be patient with the manifestation process and recognize when things that might have initially appeared to be negative ended up being agents of positive change in her life. She also discusses the benefits of meditation, from reduced stress and anxiety to lower blood pressure and even increased immunity. She shares the science behind meditation and what it takes to get over the two-week hump of meditating every day. Finally, the interview wraps up with some rapid-fire questions for Kelly.
